Vegan Cookery Workshop
We have just completed the first cookery workshop at Michael House. It was Christmas themed, plus dishes for other meals. We prepared Christmas pudding, French onion soup, mint and lemon sorbet, bakewell tart, braised red cabbage, walnut pate en-croute, sweetcorn chowder, chocolate and pecan tart, scrambled tofu, potato rosti, and discussed the vegetable preparation, and the recipes for the other dishes I made were included in the recipe details for participants, carrot and coconut soup, nut roast and chocolate pots. I think it went well, we all had a fun time! The next course in two weeks time is full, look out for details of others in the New Year.

I was one of the people on the Vegan Cookery course this last weekend - it was excellent. We learned a lot - I have come away with some great recipes and ideas - my husband is already wanting me to plan to make them for him! We covered a lot over the weekend but I have come back home feeling rested and inspired.
I will be looking to see what courses there are in 2013.
